Data Modules
Models: SSD002, SSDSC4

The SSD002 Slow Scan Data Module handles a variety of slow scan sources such as those from computer COM ports, security card readers, industrial controls and other data communications. The SSD002 has two I/O channels, each of which can be assigned independently to any data channels on the network. Dismountable phoenix style connectors are used.
The I/O format is software selectable for RS232, RS422, and RS485 (2 & 4 wire) with and without standard terminations. Available user selectable data rates are available for: 38.4 kb/s, 76.8 kb/s, 153.6 kb/s and 307.2 kb/s.
SSD002 Module Features
- Individual channels can be allocated and controlled through PathMaster software
- Each I/O channel can be set to a different data format and used for format conversion: e.g. RS232 input to RS422 output
- +5V and GND available on each connector for custom termination options
- Modules are hot swapable
SSDSC4 Module Features
The SSDSC4 module provides four input sensing dry contacts and four output contacts used to interface with external devices such as alarm panels or door micro switches.
- Any output port can be set to trigger on a system alarm such as a network communications loss
