Audio Modules

The SSD-Enet Ethernet Module provides full duplex interfacing and buffering for 10BaseT Ethernet packet traffic. The Ethernet port connection can be used for a variety of applications including data communications between remote servers and most client applications including CCTV cameras, audio devices or any appliance with an Ethernet port that uses an IP protocol for configuration, control or diagnostic purposes. The Ethernet packets are aligned and streamed with other converged services on the network. An Ethernet port RJ45 connector is provided with indicators for link status and traffic activity.

Operates with standard 10BaseT Ethernet protocols in promiscuous mode, all packet data accepted.
The SSD-Enet handles the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) packet size, 1472 byte payload (default Windows MTU)
Up to 16 full MTU payload message buffers may be allocated.
Supports MDIX for automatic detection and correction for straight-through or crossover cables, maximum 100 meter hop.
RJ45 Connector with Orange connection LED and Green activity LED.
System configuration information stored in non-volatile memory
No IP addressing is required
SSD-Enet Ethernet Modules are hot swapable and the mode of operation is fixed for 10BaseT, full duplex. Any 3rd party switchers or routers connected to the SSD-Enet sub-net must be configured for 10BaseT operation.
