Video Modules
Models: ADV264V, DAV264V, ADV264AV, DAV264AV
These composite Video Modules utilize MPEG2 as the compression standard for digital video broadcast in NTSC and PAL video formats. MPEG2 addresses many of the problems inherent in previous video compression schemes (JPEG, M-JPEG, MPEG-1 and Wavelet) such as resolution, scalability and the handling of interlaced video signals.
The ADV264AV (input) and DAV264AV (output) modules combine 2 -16 bit audio channels and 2 MPEG2 compressed video channels. The ADV264V (input) and DAV264V (output) are video only.
