Slow Scan Data Modules


The SSD002 Slow Scan Data Module is designed to handle slow scan sources such as those from computer COM ports and other control type data communications. There are two I/O channels, each of which can be assigned to different sub-nets within the OMNInet network.

The I/O format is software selectable to RS232, RS422, and RS485 (both with and without standard terminations)


SSD002 Module Features
  • Individual channels can be allocated and controlled through IMT software
  • Each I/O channel can be set to a different format
  • Can handle up to 84 different sub-nets per fiber
  • Can be used for format conversion: e.g. RS232 input to RS422 output
  • +5V and GND available on each connector for custom termination options
  • Modules are hot swappable


SSDSC4 Module Features

The SSDSC4 module provides four input sensing dry contacts and four output ports used to control action from external devices such as alarm panels.

  • Any output port can be set to trigger on a system alarm such as communications loss
