OEM SmartBuss Network Interface Module (NIM)
The Network Interface Module is for OEM's that are seeking a SmartBuss Network Core embedded solution in a small form factor (3.5" x 3.5") drop in. Each NIM is configured with 8 I2S lines, each line handling 8 I/O channels for up to 64 audio channels per module or video with additional codecs. Up to 256 nodes using hardware addressing or 32,000 nodes using software addressing can be configured on a single network without hubs or switches. SmartBuss networks simplify infrastructure cabling schemes and keep installation & maintenance costs down.
